Anthem Ponds May 16 2020
Water levels up after last night's thunderstorm. The two night herons were back in a tree on the north lake. The leaves are going to hide them in a few days. Seems to be a blue heron in every pond, a few egrets a pelican mob, and lonesome George is still lonesome.
Two night herons
Looks like two olive green eggs in the Avocet nest as the parents feed around the island.
Heron flying by Goose family. Still seven goslings!
Pelicans preening with one of the Avocet parents to be.
Lonesome George in Sienna Lake.
